All-Inclusive Yoga Retreat in Georgia
Rest, relaxation, yoga & more at this beautiful all-inclusive retreat
When I signed up for the Rest & Relaxation retreat at Elohee in the mountains of North Georgia, I had no idea what to expect. I knew from the pictures that it would be beautiful but as someone who has never been to a wellness retreat or does yoga, I wondered if I would fit in here. I definitely had a preconceived notion of being surrounded by serious, hyper-focused wellness professionals speaking only in om’s. But that’s not what I found at all.
Sure, there were yoga enthusiasts but there were also people like me who were just looking for rest, connection and a chance to experience something new. There were lawyers and police officers, executives and new parents, solo travelers and friend groups, returning guests and first timers.
Disclaimer: Elohee hosted me for this stay. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own

The schedule for the Rest & Relaxation retreat was wonderfully loose, allowing me to do as much or as little as I wanted. I definitely made sure to attend all the meals which were DELICIOUS and catered to various dietary needs — gluten free, vegan, no problem! So many options and it was all so good!

Even the logistics of the retreat added to the positive experience. Rather than parking right at the main resort, we parked below and took a shuttle up. At first, this felt a little unsettling not having my car in sight. But I quickly realized how beneficial it was to not be constantly reminded of the "real world" and fully immerse myself in the retreat.
The first thing I did when I arrived was go for a walk on one of the several hiking trails on the property. I had heard about the beautiful waterfall onsite, and it did not disappoint. For the rest of the weekend I continued to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenties in addition to yoga and meditation sessions, a free-form dance class and campfire with s’mores. There was also an art class, bubble making, vision board station and guided hike in addition to several add-on treatments like massage and reiki.
It’s hard to believe this non-profit retreat is 13 years old. Everything feels brand new! The bedroom suites, art building, tea room, yoga studio and gift shop all felt so fresh and clean. You can tell that a lot of love and work goes into maintaining this space and that extends to the grounds as well. The landscaping is stunning and you’ll have access to all the amenities on the property including the waterfall, hiking trails, and my favorite — the natural pond.

Elohee offers many different retreats throughout the year. I went on the Rest & Relaxation retreat which has a very loose schedule (you are very much encouraged to do as little or as much as you want). This is great for those who want to dip their toes into a wellness retreat and just need…well, some rest and relaxation!
You’ll find a complete list of their retreats on their website here. The Rest & Relaxation retreat starts at $507 (before tax) for 2 night/3 days and includes accommodation, all your meals, ground access, classes & activites (treatments like messages are extra). [Please check their website for the most up-to-date information]
I highly recommend a visit to Elohee to experience the beauty and tranquility firsthand. It was a very special experience that I won't soon forget and I hope I get the chance to visit again.

Thank you again Elohee for hosting my trip and for all the memories! This is such a special place and I can't wait to come back!
